Community organizing is a bad thing?

This is a Must hear show Brian Lehrer did today yesterday on Wnyc. I wanted to call in and make the point that the public sector consists of both the government as well as non-profit agencies. Non-profits help cover ground that the government fails to reach. Many times non-profits refer people in need to government programs and resources that are not well announced. For someone like Giuliani who was our freaking mayor should know the importance and role of non-profits and community organizers. Pahlin and Giuliani want to seek the highest political offices but are unaware of who the government partners with to help the people. Then again these people aren’t looking to help anyone but themselves for a power grab.

    1. Giuliani is a scumbag. And in return for dropping out during the primaries he was probably promised the job of Attorney General or another cabinet position in the horror show that will be a McCain administration. Yet another reason to vote for anyone but McCain.

    2. I like community organizers…don’t they get people together to rake up leaves? It’s laughable people try to pretend oBAMA’S community organizing experience (JOKE) qualifies him to run the country. oBAMA should take his time and work his way up to a job where his qualifications might fit. First step could be PTA president, then maybe he will be qualified to run for president of his Homeowners Association. I wonder if they’ll let him take a teleprompter to the debates…Hmmm
