How to get off of Akismet Blacklist

I was getting all of my posts marked as spam by akismet on of my friends wordpress blogs. Then I came across this post.

So I went to http://akismet.com/contact/ and under “I have a support or feature request” I submitted the following email:

      The same happened to me. I get most of my traffic to my blog through making good comments on other people’s blogs.

      N when akismet was putting me through the system as spam .. i couldn’t make comments on any wordpress blogs!!!! hahaha

      That doesn’t always work though. Matt’s been caught a number of times blacklisting folks. If you disagree with him in public, you risk being blacklisted by Akismet.

      Akismet really is a key plugin for wordpress to keep all the spam out, they do a very good job, it stops most of the rubbish getting through onto my site.
