Koolaid markets to the Ghetto

You could just imagine company executives over at Koolaid discussing how their product somehow became the official drink of the ghetto. While joking about how this must have came about someone had an epiphany. They must have thought… well if Koolaid is so popular in the Ghetto then they should focus their marketing on the ghetto to maximize their profits!
So what do they do? They come out with Koolaid Sneakers (with Reebok) and cool tv commercial spots starring none other than the Koolaid man himself doing a cross-over.
The other day I was back in Starrett City where I overheard young kids engage in a Yo Momma Dissing contest, when one said to the other: “Yo momma, She so ghetto…. When she breastfeed…… Koolaid come out!”
Its sad that even being poor gets exploited now.
