There’s an NPR headline saying Microsoft wants to buy out Yahoo! Woah, thats crazy! Does this mean Yahoo will suck as bad as hotmail? And will that crappy NWO ID system MS have be forcefully implemented? Microsoft has always been about software, I wonder if they just want Yahoos search capability and advertising network. Of course this is to counter Google in search and advertising. Whats going to happen to all those little companies Yahoo bought out.

TechCrunch Reports:

Here are some numbers from Hitwise on the combined traffic reach of Yahoo and MSN properties. Together, they have a 15.6 percent market share of Internet traffic in the U.S. , compared to 7.7 percent for Google properties. But Google still has double the market share in search of both Yahoo and Microsoft combined.
