The other day I was watching Nightline and they did this special on This Siberian dude claiming to be Jesus of Narareth who hath returned to have you do his bidding.

Disneys Wall-E Cheap Johnny 5 Rip

Disney Pixar started airing advertisments for its upcoming movie Wall-E. The problem is the main character is a total Rip of Johnny-5 from Short Circuit! See for yourself:

In 2010 a Short Circuit remake is due to come out. Ironically young kids who become familiar with Wall-E might think Johnny-5 is a cheap rip, when its the other way around! Wall-E is a bastardized reincarnate of a robot icon from the 80s!

Fisher Stevens played an excellent Indian Guy in SC2! (before Indians were allowed to play roles as themselves). “Johnny-5 is alive!” I hope his character is in the remake!

Growing up in the 80s I was nuts about Robots. On my fifth birthday I received like 4 different battery operated Robots. There was also transformers. Robocop and gobots (which was an attempt to ride on the robot craze). Here’s some of that 80s magic:

Transformers Vs. GI JOE Comics!

There are two different companies which have the rights to produce transformers vs. g.i. joe comics. The pics above are from Devil’s Due comics- http://devilsdue.net/index.html. The other is from Dream Wave. I like Devils Due’s comic much better since it is much more vibrant and colorful. Dream Waves is way to dark looking. Hasbro is the creator and owner of both G.I. JOE and transformers…. this idea is an ingenious one.. I would like to see a toyset where GI JOEs can sit inside Transforrmers… now that would be hot.

Duke Vs. Cobra Commander & Wrestling Toys!!!

While I was doing Eid Shopping with my Mom in Ramadan. I was looking through the toy section at Target when I layed my eyes on this:

It was only $7, I couldnt resist…

Once I got these guys home we got to work… the result was…

Also this motivated me to put this together:

these are ALL of the wrestling toys I have ever owned, and yes I had the ring too :)… These are the last toys I played with until I gave them up when I got to Junior High School… until of course this eid when I purchased Duke and the new Cobra Commander
